Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training for Law Enforcement & Other First Responders
MHA is the lead agency in the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Program in Forsyth County. CIT is a 5-day training for law enforcement, such as patrol, detention, campus police, EMS, fire, probation and other related personnel to help them recognize the signs and symptoms of persons experiencing a mental health crisis.

Support Groups
Support Groups are designed to help participants share common concerns,
Learn and exchange new information, Develop appropriate coping skills and Develop natural supports.

Tides Mood Disorders
Support group for adults living with depression, bi-polar disorder or other mood disorders. Meets in-person every first, third and fifth Tuesday evenings of each month from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Mental Health Association in Forsyth County, 1509 S. Hawthorne Road, Winston-Salem, NC.

Anxiety Disorders
Support group for adults living with anxiety such as generalized anxiety, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and other anxiety disorders. Applicable for adults who live with both anxiety and mood disorders. Meets in-person every second and fourth Thursday evenings of each month from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Mental Health Association in Forsyth County, 1509 S. Hawthorne Road, Winston-Salem, NC.
